Do you remember that cake that your mother used to bake? What about your Dad's signature dish or Grandma's Jam?

A fun way to pass on recipes
Date:10 January 2012
"I bought this for myself as it's the kind of thing I wish my predecessors had had. Amongst the family, we argue about who has the 'genuine' original version of how Great Grandma made her home made salad cream or whether the lemon cake recipe is originally Grandma's or Granny's. My daughters will not have the same problem! I was pleasantly surprised that it's not just a book to collect recipes, but it split into two halves with the first half focused on food-memories and the second half a recipe collection (plus personal memory notes). The book is lovely quality - hard back and thick paper, designed to last being passed hand to hand down the generations. The cover design isn't my personal taste, but it's not offensive and I can always cover it with a more personalised scrapbook type cover if I want."

"Have bought this to put aside for a friends birthday and i am sure she will be delighted as there is finally a place for all the recipes passed around the workplace. Delivery was super fast and would definitely use the site again for xmas presents. Keep up the good work"
