"Ordered this gift for my mum and dads Golden Anniversary as I know this will be right up their street! Wanted to get them something they would both enjoy and when I saw this newspaper year book I knew this would be ideal. When I ordered it from the internet I was expecting a delivery within 5 days (possibly longer as I live out in the countryside) but to my delight it arrived 2 days later after ordering - hows that for service -FANTASTIC!! I will definitely be ordering lots more items from Getting Personal as all the items I have ordered so far have been great and service is second to none!"

"Bit stuck for my brother's golden wedding celebration so turned to the internet for inspiration. Googled Golden Wedding and luckily found 'Getting Personal' I say lucky because My brother and sister in law loved the book but what impressed me more is the speed, Ordered Tuesday night and was delivered Friday morning on their anniversary. You can't get better service than that."

for the couple who had everything

"This was for my parents' 50th wedding anniversary. They have everything, but didn't have this: a collection of stories from the day and year of their wedding. They were delighted with the collection, and the personalised wording on the first page. I had looked at other newspapers' own offerings of a commemorative single front page, which were frankly pathetic in comparison to a whole book, and actually charged more just for a print-out of a single page. This was so much better, and the service was excellent, it came very promptly. The only quibble I have is that there was not enough room on the front to enter their whole names including surname, so I just had to use first names. I also wish I had had a preview of what the dedication on the inside would look like so that I could have filled it out more - it was a bit short and I had more room than I thought, in contrast to the personalisation on the front. I also agree with a previous reviewer that it would be good to have a box to store it in. But otherwise, it did the job and gave exactly the right mix of commemoration for an event now with memories of the past, along the ability to personalise it. It was also very good value."
