"The original newspaper is a gift for my Dad's 70th birthday, It's fab. Dad was born in 1941 so the Daily Mirror was reporting on the war and what was going on - absolutely fascinating. Its smells so old. I can't tell you enough how great this is. Just hope Dad thinks so!!!"

"I purchased this for my father in law for his 70th birthday. He has most the things he wants so instead of buying him yet another bottle of whiskey we decided to buy him this, which I am glad we did! The paper comes in a nice presentation box, you open this to reveal the certificate which is personalised with the name and occasion for which the paper was presented and a personal message. The paper has been carefully wrapped in tissue paper but you can see what it is and the smell is so distinctive to an old paper which adds to the pleasure. We have yet to give this gift so do not yet know what he thinks of it but both myself and my husband were very pleased!"

"My dad was overwhelmed by the gift of a newspaper from the day he was born. He is a real historian and loves finding out what has happened in his lifetime so the paper was a perfect gift.
gettingpersonal.co.uk were incredibly efficient and helpful to get the present to me in time for my dad's 70th. They were especially helpful becasue his date of birth was a Sunday and so the papers was rare making it extra special to my dad.
