"very nice gift in excellent condition and nicely boxed.However i feel it was a bit pricey, also the personalised message i thought could have been printed on the box rather than on a certificate inside"

"We purchased a newspaper printed on the day of our grandparents wedding back in 1949. They were overwhelmed with it and made an interesting read for the whole family.......some reminiscing, some flabbergasted at what went on all those years ago! Brilliant! "I ordered an original copy of The Times to as a gift to celebrate my Grandparents 60th wedding annivesary and although it said delivery could take five days due to it being a personalized gift. It was therefore a fantastic surprise when it turned up just three days later. Needless to say my Grandparents could'nt put it down and are over the moon with thier gift although that does mean that I've had to listen to every article twice. I will certainly use "Getting Personal" again in the future."

"The gift couldn't have been more perfect. Feedback was that of all gifts received ours was the one with the most thought. It was the correct newspaper too, which was an added bonus. Very pleased with both the gift and the service received; can't say that often nowadays!"

"On opening their Diamond Wedding present, a copy of the Times newspaper from their wedding day, my parents were delighted.
The delight was as much from the totally unexpected and unanticipated type of present in the box as from the sentimental feelings evoked by it.
The only problem was the question "How on earth did somebody decide to keep a copy of a 60 year old newspaper?" We couldn't answer that!
I'd recommend something unexpected like this, expecially for people who feel they don't need or want anything."

"I bought an Original newspaper from 1948. Although you didn't have the one I ordered you gave me an alternative one which was just as good. The joy it brought to my grandparents! They were asking "How on earth did you get that?" They were so surprised and grateful that I would take the effort to find what they class as a rare paper. They will cherish it. I can't thank you enough for making their day and making me out to be some kind of hero. And it didnt take me long to find a gift on your website that I believed was a unique gift. "My parents in law were married jyst after the war and so had very little. When they opened their copy of the Times from the day they got married they were totally absorbed in looking and reading about what was happening the day they got married.
